Hey, just to let you guys know, according to a friend of mine, we might get the character photos of The Cheshire Cat, The White Rabbit, The Caterpillar, and The Knave of Hearts sometime soon. I hope this is true, I am excited!!!

(I think it has to do with the Disney showcase that is coming up.)

Also, I think this is a "big fat rumor," but I hear that they are trying to get "Daniel Radcliffe" and "Anna Paquin" to join Dark Shadows. Again, a big stupid rumor, but who knows... so was Stephen Fry, Noah Taylor and Barbara Windsor in "Alice" and they came true, so let us just wait.

"The Auteur's Blockbuster"
I like that quote, a lot.

Why are they cradling animals?

I really hope that the fact that Johnny Depp is in the centre of the group picture is arbitrary. One of my biggest concerns for this film is that it's just going to be a Depp-fest. Of course he's going to have a bigger role than he needs to in this 'sequel', but I really just want Alice to be the star

I'm sure the Mad Hatter's central mainly cos it's Depp and the Hatter's kinda 'that' character that people will be interested in seeing what he's like, especially by Timmy B. There are many more characters in the tale that I'm sure it will follow Alice's tale. Also, can anyone conform that that rumor about the Alice+MH romance? I really, really hope that's a rumor...

Alas, I must say that I have an early draft of the script...and the romance plot is indeed in it. However, it is an early draft. Some things are bound to change, I suppose.

Hmm... It just seems a little too like fan-fiction, kinda like they thought "oh, the Mad Hatter's played by Johnny Depp? What girl wouldn't want to be with Johnny Depp!". However, given his last two films, I think Tim knows how to go about strange romances respectfully haha
