Concept art and two puppets from Tim Burton's upcoming film Frankenweenie have been revealed. Some of the artwork dates back to around 1984, when the original live-action short was made when Burton was a student at Cal-Arts. But the stop-motion puppets of Victor and Sparky are new to the world, and, as indicated by their monochromatic color scheme, have at least been tested in black and white tones. Hopefully, the final film will also be in black-and-white, just as Burton intended. The film will also be shot in 3D.

Awwwe, you know looking at him (Victor Frankenstein) closer he actually looks like Victor from Corpse Bride. And Sparky is sooo cuteee!

They're wonderful! Frankenweenie looks like a young version of Victor and the dog like Victor's dog, just alive :D! I expect the best from Burton.
Oh! Opening in Japan to the public is still what. However, open to the public in 2012 is very enjoyment!I want to see new Frankenweenie early!
*correction. He made Frankenweenie while working as a concept artist at Disney, not when he was at CalArts. That's why Disney owns the rights to it now and he has to produce it through them. The same thing happened to the Nightmare Before Christmas.
