Who Influenced Hathaway?
In a lengthy interview (click here to read the entire article), Anne Hathaway mentioned one person who inspired her acting as the White Queen in Alice in Wonderland (among numerous other topics):
“...when I was getting ready for Alice in Wonderland I watched a lot of Greta Garbo’s silent movies. She’s insane.”
She also spoke about her co-star Johnny Depp and director Tim Burton:
“If Johnny Depp has a twin brother, send him over,” laughs Anne Hathaway. “I’ll marry that guy right away.”
“Honestly, Johnny’s everything you’d want him to be, and more, while Tim is one of my favourite filmmakers. He has been since I started watching his films as a child. Working with him on a fairy tale is like being invited into this sandbox to play around.”

“You can be totally angry one second and then totally happy another second, and you can be delightful and murderous at the same time. I know that doesn’t make much sense now, but you’ll see the film and understand.”
Sounds pretty. ;-)
i want to play with tim in his sandbox! haha. jealous!
Hey, guys, Disney just confirmed Stephen Fry will be the Cheshire Cat.
And, I believe, they have also confimred that Michael Sheen will plsy the White Rabbit.
No one is going to believe me, but I saw something that said Rowan Atkinson is playing the Mock Turtle, but I could be wrong because I saw it on an anonymous website while surfing the web, so yeah... I wont blame you if you dont believe me.

Tequila!
NEW DECLARATIONS! Christopher Lee will be playing the Bandersnatch. O_o Weird, but oh well.
Stephen Fry will be the Cheshire Cat, and he'll be huge and with black/green stripes, and he has a yellowish, creepy smile.
The White Queen will be a symbol of purity and innocence and the Red Queen will be the exact opposite.
The plot goes about Alice having to marry a son of one of her father's associates, and not wanting to, and falling again through the Rabbit Hole back into Wonderland. BTW, the movie's going to be dark and sort o creepy/scary. the look uses a lot of contrast. Clothing is inspired in Charles Dicken's England.
