Famed Hollywood producer Richard D. Zanuck died on the morning of Friday, July 13th, 2012 of a heart attack. He was 77 years old.
Zanuck produced numerous films, including
Jaws,
Driving Miss Daisy, and
True Crime, among others.
Zanuck also served as producer on six of Tim Burton's films:
Planet of the Apes (2001),
Big Fish (2003),
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005),
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007),
Alice in Wonderland (2010), and
Dark Shadows (2012).
