Disney will be releasing a soundtrack for Alice in Wonderland on March 2nd, entitled Almost Alice.
Here's the full tracklist for Almost Alice:
1. “Alice (Underground)” performed by Avril Lavigne

3. “The Technicolor Phase” performed by Owl City
4. “Her Name Is Alice” performed by Shinedown
5. “Painting Flowers” performed by All Time Low
6. “Where’s My Angel” performed by Metro Station
7. “Strange” performed by Tokio Hotel and Kerli

14. “Running Out of Time” performed by Motion City Soundtrack
15. “Fell Down a Hole” performed by Wolfmother
16. “White Rabbit” performed by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals
According to the MySpace Music blog, most of these tracks are “re-imagining songs from the Disney classic.” The album will be an "inspired-by" compilation of songs, not unlike the Nightmare Revisited album from 2008 for The Nightmare Before Christmas.
There will also be a version of the album with two additional songs, exclusively available at Hot Topic.
I have a pre-order for the Alice in Wonderland film score by Danny Elfman on Amazon.com. There's a picture of the soundtrack, and I can clearly see Music by Danny Elfman on the bottom. So I can discern from that image that there will be a Danny Elfman soundtrack release on March 2nd.
ReplyDeleteThis is so disappointing, at least Robert Smith is on it.
ReplyDeleteDisappointment!!!! Only care about Danny Elfman's musical contributions thank you VERY much.
ReplyDeleteWORST soundtrack ever! what are they thinking? metrostation? this is getting too emo/hot topic-ish...Is this movie/soundtrack for hipsters only? i am highly disappointed! :S
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with everyone. This soundtrack is embarrassing. This just shouldn't be. How much say does Tim have in all this? It's obvious that the cd will sell wonderfully though, we can clearly see the age group it's aimed at. And with a Disney movie coming out, that is expected.
ReplyDeleteTokio Hotel? Are you kidding me?
ReplyDeleteAs a strong burton follower from the age of 9 (TNBC) I have seen Burton grow, expand, and become more popular. Although I am still excited to see this film, I feel a high level of "sell out" coming on. This teeny booper album, WAY to much CGI, and sure Depp is great, but why did they have to create SUCH a new strong line if not only to make sure that the hatter became a long enough role to be in nearly EVERY scene in the movie.
ReplyDeletedarkinddreamer: There's also gonna be a Danny Elfman-soundtrack, the CGI is because Burton feel it fits the movie (otherwise he doesn't use CGI that much) and the script was written before Depp was casted, and many of the Mad Hatter-scenes follow "Through the looking classes" (:
ReplyDeleteDitto darkinddreamer (although fan since about 6 lol). I am very concerned about this film. I mean I'll still see it opening day no doubt, but I spose we'll all just have to wait and see and prey Tim hasn't sold out (I mean he's lasted this long without doing so!)
ReplyDeleteDamn you Disney.
ReplyDeleteI agree..
ReplyDeleteFUCK YOU, DISNEY!!!
i actually think this gonna be good i have heard 3OH!3's song and it is not bad and to all you Disney haters out there you can go screw yourself if you do not like something keep it to your self ok no one wants to hear it
ReplyDeleteif Disney is so bad then why has they been around since 1923 and if you also notice they are the biggest entertainment company in the world and they are one the only people not having financial trouble
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS NOT THE ACTUAL SOUNDTRACK!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are track inspired / based on the film!
Get your facts straight.
thank you TiannaJ for pointing that out so all these people can get there panties out of a wade
ReplyDeleteTo the Anonymous who told off the Disney haters, a big thumbs up for you. They deserve it for being closed-minded about that place.
ReplyDeleteI may not agree with everything about Disney. But I don't want it gone.
FUCK ALL OF YOU DISNEY HATERS AND EAT A BIG DICK!!!
