This news will be no suprise to anyone, but Helena Bonham Carter has been cast in Sweeney Todd. She will play the role of Mrs. Lovett.

ReplyDeleteI'm gonna get blasted for this but... why does he have to cast her in every movie he does now? She's got some real talent but c'mon- this is his 5th film in a row with her. That just screams nepotism.

Surely you've seen enough of his films to know that he's cast every one of his lady friend of the time...For example, he was dating Lisa Marie when he came out with Ed Wood and Sleepy Hollow . Coincidence? Not at all. Mr. Burton has always had a fairly loyal, predictable, dependable cast, and that's just the way he's always planned it. Hey....It's worked for him so far, hasn't it?

ReplyDeleteI just go the new soundtrack of TNBC. I think its ok, but it sounded kind of weird compaired to the orginal one. I think that Manson did the best one. I am listening to it now. The cover looks sweet! Its all 3-D looking and everything the inside looked pritty sweet too. Its new. And I also like that the fact that the cd is black instead of white like the first soundtrack. Anyone else agree?
