The exciting news is that this
Labor Day weekend, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory became only the second Tim Burton film to gross over $200 million at the North American box office! It earned an estimated $1.75 million, pushing its total to $200.7 million. And with the release of the Corpse Bride less than three weeks away, we'll soon be in for a double treat at the movie theater.
This is what everyone was waiting for.its probally not going to make 250 million like Batman, but this certainly is great news All I can say for the moment is "Well dome Tim!"
ReplyDeleteBrilliant, but we have to remember Batman was going to be huge however it turned out or whoever did it. So CATCF has done extremely well.

ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful! CATCF, Tim Burton, Johnny Depp and all the crew deserved this; they all did such a great job! I agree with rain sparrow; The Corpse Bride is already so big now from what little t.v advertising there is...just wait till everyone sees it! Jeez, I'm excited!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all involved in bringing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to the ironic, creepy, awesome piece that it is. Much love to Burton who never ceases to entertain and inspire me.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately Corpse Bride will come out months after the U.S release date, I live in Australia so I guess I will have to wait.
What a wait it will be though, I'm excited about it already.
