"The Nightmare Before Christmas" Returns to 3D

The official website for the 3D theatrical version has stated that the stop-motion classic The Nightmare Before Christmas will be re-released in U.S. theaters on Friday, October 19th, 2007. There is also word that Tim Burton's stop-motion animated short, Vincent, will play before the feature, although news of this has not been mentioned for a few months.

Does anyone know how long it will be out for? I think the website said 3 weeks but I'm not exactly sure...

3 weeks sounds like a probable estimate. I think it stuck around in theaters about that long last year.

I haven't been here lately. I am pleased to announce that The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) , and Wikipedia have reported Tim's next film, a feature film adaptation of The Spook's Apprentice. The film is to be released in 2009.

I have checked the mentioned sites as well, and they seem to accuarte to me. A 2009 release seems likely, considering the year releases for Tim's previous films. I believe when Tim got replaced by Brad Siberling as the director of Ripley's Believe It or Not! , he picked up this project.
